LOVE IN ACTION

Our Local and abroad team

Board of Directors, President

Jared St. Aubyn is a natural born leader with experience in paving the way to successful outcomes. His background includes commercial construction as a project engineer for Hensel Phelps, and residential construction as President of Saint Aubyn Homes (2009-2019). Jared’s passion is coaching high school football, and he is skilled in helping young athletes work to their full potential.

When Jared first visited One Love Academy in Ethiopia, he was overwhelmed by the opportunity to help students and families receive an education to improve their lives. Jared strongly believes in empowering others and pushes One Love toward a model of a hand-up, not a hand-out.

Jared attended college on a full-ride athletic scholarship to the University of New Mexico. After a career ending injury, Jared transferred to the University of Northern Colorado and graduated from the Monfort School of Business in 2001 with a B.S. in finance. Jared has been married to his wife Megghan for over 20 years and they have three kids, Jackson, Lyla, and Asher.

Co-Director, Treasurer

Megghan St. Aubyn has a passion for education and its power to change lives. She brings a unique mix of experience to One Love, working as a development officer and a business manager before leaving the professional world to raise her three children.

Megghan’s faith and love for children led her on a mission trip to Ethiopia, where she experienced the indescribable joy and hope of the students at Connected In Hope preschool in Shiromeda. When Connected In Hope closed its doors in 2016, Megghan, her husband Jared, Kit, and Mandy Bradshaw founded One Love Ethiopia. She is blessed by the opportunity to give a hand up to the students and staff at One Love Academy.

Megghan is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder (B.S. 2000), with a double major in finance and management, and completed postgraduate work in business at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock. She enjoys serving her local community and previously served a three-year term on the Board of Directors at Monument Academy Charter School and two years as a volunteer and treasurer for the Bears Football Club of Monument. In her free time, Megghan loves cooking, entertaining, traveling, being active in the great outdoors, and cheering on her husband and children in their various endeavors.

Co-Director, Secretary

After her first trip to Ethiopia in 2014, Mandy knew her life would never be the same. Her eyes had been opened to a world that looked very different from her own, and her heart was forever changed by the children she met — children who had an incredible joy for life in the midst of the poverty surrounding them.

Two years after her first visit, Mandy understood why God had called her to Ethiopia, and with the encouragement of her husband Kit, God's provision, and a beautiful partnership with Jared and Megghan St Aubyn, One Love Ethiopia was established. Mandy believes that a school can truly be the best place to foster growth, care, love, and hope for all children, especially those who are experiencing extreme poverty.

Today, Mandy works directly with One Love’s Ethiopian staff, assisting their local director, in-country liaison, and social worker. She aims to understand the school and staff’s needs and leads team trips to share the vision of One Love Ethiopia. Mandy travels to Ethiopia often during the year to foster and encourage lasting relationships

with One Love’s staff and beneficiaries.

Mandy is passionate about creating and living a beautiful life in Colorado Springs with her husband and their three children, Bella, Kash, and Brooks.

Board of Directors, Vice President

When Kit realized the passion his wife Mandy had for the people of Ethiopia he was inspired to travel and see for himself what had captured her heart. After his initial visit, he fully understood and developed a passion of his own to help educate and empower individuals and families in the community of Shiromeda. Kit is committed to the mission of One Love and he strives to provide guidance and support to encourage a brighter

future for the families One Love serves.

Kit attended the University of Wyoming on a full-ride football scholarship and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications and Marketing. Kit’s background in Real Estate, Investment Services, and the Mortgage Industry has given him an in-depth understanding of what hard work and perseverance can achieve. Kit resides in Colorado Springs with his wife Mandy and their three children.

Board Member

“The kids and families are everything!” With a background that includes the Philadelphia Phillies, IBM, 20+ years in the mortgage industry, and years of serving in ministry, Todd Crane brings a unique perspective and passion as a board member for One Love Ethiopia.

Todd has been married to his wife Mia for over 20 years and they have two kids, Chase and Aspen. Outside of spending time with his family, he enjoys snowboarding, riding dirt bikes, most sports, and spending time with friends.
