Danawit, a 4th grade student at One Love Academy. Her mother and father both passed away and she lives with a foster family. Although they don’t have legal guardianship over her, they allow her to live with them out of the kindness of their hearts. Despite the challenges of her home life, Danawit is the top ranking student in her grade. Your monthly giving allows Danawit to dream that one day... she will be a doctor.

Emeanash, a 14 year old student at One Love Academy. Emeanash suffered an early childhood of abuse before she came to live with her older sister and her sister’s husband in Shiro Meda. For years after she arrived in Shiromeda, the government school had no room for her. Now, at 14 years old, she is attending OneLove academy as a first grader. Our teachers made an exception to allow her to begin her education for the very first time. The rejection of her past is behind her. She loves school and she works hard at her studies. Your monthly giving allows Emeanash to dream that one day... she will be a teacher.

Amenu, a six year old student at One Love Academy. Amenu has down syndrome. In Ethiopia many times children with special needs are hidden and not allowed to go to school. But at OneLove Academy the teachers have welcomed him and brought out his exceptional gifts. He is loved by his classmates and he is thriving.
